Key Responsibilities:

• Design the finance department structure and recruit accountants, tax specialists, and analysts
• Establish financial management systems, approval workflows, and internal controls
• Build a cross-border settlement system (L/C, TT, DP/DA, cross-border RMB settlement)
• Establish cost accounting models covering freight, customs, warehousing, and delivery
• Liaise with banks to secure financing facilities (credit lines, guarantees, supply chain finance)
• Support tax planning to optimize tax burden in both Pakistan and China
• Prepare budgets, monitor cash flow, and produce financial statements
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and annual settlements

Requirements:

• Logistics/freight forwarding/international trade finance experience preferred
• Banking relationships in both Pakistan and China preferred
• Experience building a finance system or overseas branch finance department from scratch
• Proficient in international settlement instruments, Pakistan tax laws (sales tax, income tax, withholding tax, CVT), and ERP systems
• English required; Chinese is a plus, not mandatory

• Maintain relationships with Pakistan Customs (FBR), PSW, and industry associations
• Monitor customs policy changes and handle audits/disputes

Requirements:

• Hands-on Pakistan customs operations experience preferred
• Established channels with Pakistan Customs, clearing agents, and bonded warehouses
• Proficiency in Pakistan's Customs Act 1969, Customs Rules 2001, and PSW/WeBOC systems
• Familiarity with cross-border e-commerce supervision models (1210/9610/9710/9810) a plus
• English required; Urdu proficiency preferred
