Industrial Electrician Full-time Job

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings. Your expertise in electrical systems, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety will be essential in ensuring efficient and reliable electrical operations within our facilities. This position may involve working in hazardous environments and may require occasional overtime or on-call availability.

Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in industrial settings, including motors, transformers, generators, control panels, and lighting systems.

Diagnose electrical malfunctions using various testing devices and troubleshooting techniques.

Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to determine the layout and installation procedures for electrical equipment and systems.

Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program is preferred.

A Journeyman Electrician license or relevant certification is required.

Proven work experience as an Industrial Electrician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components used in industrial environments.
