Job Description:

The role of the Accounts Officer is primarily to

· Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner

· Ensure that vendor / customer invoices have been approved and review coding

· Generate vendor payments

· Process receipts from customers and apply to invoices

· Facilitate the processing of customer invoices via relevant systems and interfaces

· Reconcile individual vendor/customer accounts

· Process one time customer transactions within deadlines

· Allocate vendor payments to invoices

· Resolve vendor and customer queries as required

· Process credit card and international transactions in the Accounting system

· Processing of staff and third party claims for entry into the payroll systems

· Processing of customer credits and refunds accordingly
