Employee Relations Advisor

Monzo is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to join their Employee Relations team and help create fair, consistent, and positive people experiences. The role involves partnering with managers and People Partners to provide specialist advice on complex, higher-risk employee relations matters across the UK and EU. Candidates will navigate difficult situations with empathy, balance employment law with practical business needs, and support international scaling.

• Experience as an Employee Relations specialist with strong practical knowledge of employment law and ER best practice
• Experience supporting ACAS Early Conciliation and/or Employment Tribunal claims
• Experience working in a global or multi-jurisdictional ER environment, particularly with understanding Spain's landscape
• Ability to independently manage complex, sensitive, and higher-risk ER matters across performance, conduct, grievances, absence, capability, and organisational change
• Experience coaching and developing managers and less experienced ER colleagues
• High level of organisation with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

An experienced Employee Relations professional who is comfortable working independently with ambiguity, adept at multi-jurisdictional landscapes, and passionate about coaching managers to build confidence and fair workplace practices.
