About the role
Gusto is seeking a Machine Learning Platform and Infrastructure Engineer to join their ML Platform team across hybrid locations in Denver, New York, and San Francisco. In this role, you will build, scale, and maintain dependable ML and AI platform solutions, data pipelines, and infrastructure to support model development and deployment. You will work closely with AI and ML engineers to establish automated pipelines, MLOps solutions, and CI/CD processes.
Key requirements
- At least 5+ years of software engineering experience using Python, Ruby, or Java
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing infrastructure and platform services for the machine learning lifecycle, such as feature stores, model development, deployment, and observability tools
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform, with AWS preferred
- Curiosity and experimentation with emerging AI frameworks, along with comfort using AI-assisted development tools
- Ability to work from designated office spaces approximately 2 to 3 days per week in Denver, New York, or San Francisco
