Job Description

A pharmacist is a medical professional who is responsible for preparing, storing, dispensing, and maintaining records of medication as prescribed by doctors and other health care providers. The pharmacist is responsible for making sure that the correct medication is given and that the patient takes the medication correctly and safely. They must also ensure that all manufacturers’ guidelines for the storage and handling of medications are followed. In addition to these responsibilities, they also typically work with patients to explain and answer questions about medications and help people manage medications that may require special interactions with dietary supplements, food, or other conditions.
