Video Editor Full-time Job

Job Description

A video editor is responsible for editing and assembling raw footage into a cohesive and visually appealing video product. They work closely with directors, producers, and other creative professionals to bring the desired vision to life.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze raw footage to determine the story, concept, and overall objectives of the video project.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and vision.
• Trim and edit footage segments to create a seamless final product.
• Utilize video editing software and tools to enhance video quality, and add visual effects, transitions, and sound.
• Incorporate music, dialogue, graphics, and other elements into videos.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a video editor or similar role.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Strong understanding of video editing techniques, including pacing, transitions, colour grading, and visual storytelling.

Experience

3-4 Years of Experience Preferred
