Finance Analyst

Monzo is seeking a Finance Analyst to join their Costs Team in London. The role supports subsidiary entities with accurate forecasting, reporting, and operating expenses controls, while helping manage strategic business projects and intercompany processes.

• Produce monthly forecasts, variance analysis, and reporting for subsidiary entities
• Own the administration and coordination of the intercompany charging process
• Prepare financial reporting for strategic projects and monitor spend against approved budgets
• Support month end activities by preparing journals, reconciliations, accruals, and reporting schedules
• Investigate financial variances and explain commercial drivers behind changes in spend
• Work with stakeholders to gather forecast inputs and resolve data issues
• Maintain financial models, reporting templates, and process documentation
• Support investment business cases by gathering financial information and validating assumptions
• Identify opportunities to automate manual activities and improve finance processes
• Help deliver finance transformation initiatives through testing, implementation, and continuous improvement
