Product Engineer II - Web

Tamara is seeking a Web Engineer II to develop and enhance frontend applications and backend APIs for their fintech platform. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable backend services, drive Agile methodologies, and optimize web performance for millions of users.

• 4+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering with a focus on Frontend development
• Familiarity with major JavaScript frameworks, with a preference for React JS
• Solid understanding of modern JavaScript features including ES2023 updates, asynchronous programming, and concurrent rendering
• Practical knowledge of OOP concepts and SOLID principles
• Experience with Agile practices such as Pairing, TDD, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery
• Expertise in optimizing web performance and Web Vitals including TTFB, TTI, and FCP
• Experience in web application design, state management solutions, and unit or integration testing
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and security vulnerabilities

Software engineers with at least four years of frontend-focused experience who thrive in Agile environments, possess strong backend and JavaScript knowledge, and are passionate about building accessible, high-performance web applications.
