Senior PR and Communications Manager (12 month fixed-term contract)

Monzo is seeking a Senior PR and Communications Manager for a 12-month fixed term contract to drive ambitious public relations strategies across European expansion markets. You will lead go-to-market PR initiatives in new EU territories while managing day-to-day media activity in established regions like Ireland and Spain. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, you will collaborate cross-functionally and manage an EU PR Manager.

• Proven experience leading both tailored and scalable PR strategies for multiple international markets
• Experience launching brands with little brand awareness in new markets across Europe
• A track record of building and managing high-performing teams
• Strong experience working with and managing external agencies across multiple markets
• Ability to understand local media, audience nuances and adapt strategy based on this
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments
• Ability to demonstrate creativity and impact in delivering standout PR campaigns
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
