Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Connectivity

N26 is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Platform Engineering Segment in the Mesh Team. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining a service mesh to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of cloud-hosted banking services.

• Professional experience as an SRE or DevOps engineer
• Hands-on, production experience with Amazon Web Services
• Knowledge of Go and/or Python
• Broad understanding of systems (Linux) and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS)
• Expertise in container virtualization and orchestration like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with service mesh implementations such as Istio
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, Terraform, Vault, Consul, and Salt/Ansible

A proactive, autonomous technologist with a background in SRE or DevOps who can lead technical projects, mentor junior and mid-level engineers, and manage service mesh architecture.
