About the role
Monzo is seeking a Treasury Analyst to focus on commercial performance and support its investment strategy in London or remotely within the UK. The role involves assisting with core Treasury functions such as budgeting, stress testing, month-end reporting, modelling, and maintaining balance sheet resilience. Candidates will collaborate across Treasury, Finance, and Risk functions to help drive informed business decisions.
Key requirements
- Support and enhance the budgeting and forecasting process including stress testing and model development
- Support month-end reporting including cost analysis and reporting
- Enhance the control environment
- Design brilliant ways to automate work and leverage technology to ensure scale with the business
- Partner with internal teams to help them make informed business decisions
- Have experience working at a bank and knowledge of Treasury forecasting
- Have a highly analytical and forward thinking approach
- Be interested in identifying and using data, performing analysis, and understanding financial impacts on the bank
- Be able to articulate and explain technical topics to diverse audiences
- Have strong technical skills
- Be interested in learning more about the wider Treasury worlds of investment and capital management
