Data Director, EU

Monzo is seeking a Data Director for EU expansion to lead the Data team and shape product strategy as the company grows across Europe. In this role, you will own learning loops, establish data foundations for new markets, and partner with leadership to drive commercial outcomes. You will operate from London, Barcelona, or via remote working within the UK.

• Operated at Director level or above as a strategic data leader
• Built or scaled a data function in a new market, product line, or business from an early stage
• Led company-wide or division-wide goal-setting, defined high-clarity metrics, set targets, and partnered with Finance
• Grown full-stack Data teams of both individual contributors and managers, representing Data at ExCo and to C-level peers

Strategic data leaders energized by zero-to-one ambiguity who have experience building data functions from the ground up in new markets and leading cross-functional teams.
