Manager, Business Insurance Servicing

Gusto is seeking a hands-on leader for its growing Business Insurance team in Denver, CO, operating on a hybrid schedule. This role involves hiring, coaching, and managing a licensed team of account managers while overseeing service quality, carrier relationships, and compliance for small commercial insurance lines. The successful candidate will also partner with product and engineering to build internal systems, standard operating procedures, and automation.

• 5+ years of commercial lines service experience at an independent agency, brokerage, or carrier
• 1 to 2+ years of experience leading or supervising a service team
• Workers' Compensation depth including class codes, experience modifiers, premium audits, and pay-as-you-go experience
• Experience working in carrier portals such as Hartford and AmTrust
• AI and automation fluency with a track record of turning manual processes into automated ones
• An active Property and Casualty producer license, with Colorado residency preferred or obtainable within 90 days
• Willingness to obtain nonresident licenses across operating footprints
