Product Manager, Business Money – SMB Banking

Gusto is seeking a product manager for its Business Money team in San Francisco to help build and scale small business banking products from the ground floor. The role involves owning core banking workstreams, driving growth and adoption, and leveraging Gusto's payroll ecosystem to create integrated financial solutions. Candidates should be comfortable working in a hybrid environment with office presence expectations.

• 7+ years of product management experience in fintech, banking, or adjacent industries
• Hands-on familiarity with business banking, BaaS platforms, deposit products, or money movement rails
• Experience taking a product from pre-beta to launch in 0 to 1 environments with limited resources
• Experience running a real experimentation practice involving hypothesis, test design, readout, and decision
• Understanding of the regulatory and operational complexity of banking products with an ability to partner with Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams
• Active engagement with AI tools relevant to the role

Product managers with extensive background in fintech or banking who thrive in 0-1 environments, possess a strong bias toward action, and care deeply about supporting small businesses.
