Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager

Gusto is seeking its first licensed account manager to build and own the daily service function for its newly established P&C insurance agency in Denver. The role involves managing commercial lines accounts, handling proactive outreach using payroll data, and partnering with product and engineering to automate service workflows using AI tools. Candidates should be comfortable thriving in a zero-to-one hybrid environment.

• 5+ years of commercial lines service experience at an independent agency, brokerage, or carrier, servicing small commercial accounts end to end
• Workers' Compensation depth including class codes, experience modifiers, premium audits, and state-specific requirements
• Experience working in carrier portals such as Hartford and AmTrust and coordinating with carrier underwriting and servicing teams
• AI and automation fluency with practical experience using AI tools in real service work
• Evidence of building processes, redesigning workflows, or implementing tools
• Active Property and Casualty producer license, or willingness to obtain one within 90 days
• Compliance instinct regarding licensed responsibilities, carrier sign-offs, and documented files

An experienced P&C service professional with a strong background in small commercial accounts and Workers' Compensation who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building foundational operations from scratch.
