Controls Product Senior Manager

Monzo is seeking a Senior Controls Product Manager to join its Controls Product & Enablement team in London or via UK remote work. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Risk, Data, and Engineering to build internal risk products and automated workflows that support safe growth.

• Own the Controls Product Roadmap and define vision, strategy, and backlog for internal risk products
• Directly design, prototype, and build automated workflows, API integrations, and low-code or no-code solutions
• Champion AI adoption by experimenting with LLM prompting, custom agents, and automated evidence-gathering tools
• Drive the shift from annual point-in-time assessments to continuous, automated real-time risk monitoring
• Ensure high-impact product enablement, adoption, and clear write-once guidance for risk owners
• Guide two specialized data and automation direct reports to maintain momentum across the delivery plan
• Bring experience in leading teams through change programmes, ideally within Financial Services Controls functions

An experienced product manager who is also a hands-on builder comfortable writing code or utilizing low-code tools, possesses foundational risk and controls knowledge, and thrives in ambiguity within a fast-paced environment.
