Data Science Manager, Financial Crime

Monzo is seeking a Data Science Manager to lead one of the key product areas for Financial Crime, collaborating with product, risk, and engineering peers. You will champion the data strategy, lead a cross-functional team of data scientists and data analysts, and drive improvements in financial crime detection, prevention, and mitigation. This role can be based in London, Cardiff, or operated remotely within the UK.

• At least 4 years of experience as a Data Science Manager
• At least 2 years of experience managing a data team larger than 4 people
• Strong experience working with executive or C-level peers and managing stakeholders across levels of seniorities and disciplines
• Familiarity using a variety of Data Science tools, from business intelligence, experimentation, and causal inference through to machine learning
• Proficiency in coding languages Python and SQL
