Engineering Manager

Monzo is seeking Engineering Managers to join cross-functional, autonomous teams across Platform, Core App, and Expansion. The role focuses on three pillars: people leadership, product delivery, and technical guidance within a shallow management structure.

• Have worked as a software engineer in previous roles
• Bring delivery experience and the ability to guide squads in achieving outcomes
• Comfortable operating within ambiguous problem areas with a high degree of autonomy
• Capable of coaching, supporting, and developing a group of around 7-10 engineers through regular 1:1s and continuous feedback
• Able to collaborate with Product Managers, Technical Leads, and senior engineers to drive technical initiatives and maintain engineering excellence
