About the role
Monzo is seeking a hands-on and proactive Operational Tax Senior Manager to join the Tax team and lead on all taxes touching customers and their tax reporting across the UK and Europe. This role involves serving as the subject matter expert on operational tax, owning compliance and controls, and partnering with Product and local market teams to shape new products. Candidates will report into the Tax Governance Lead and help support business initiatives from an operational tax perspective.
Key requirements
- Qualified accountant and/or qualified tax advisor, or qualified by significant experience
- Significant in-house experience working in Operational Tax
- Comfortable working relatively autonomously
- Energetic and hands-on with work
- Eye for detail and enjoyment of working methodically through processes
