Platform Engineer - Compute

Supabase is seeking a platform engineer to join their Compute team and manage the critical systems powering project provisioning, scaling, and compute services. You will design, build, and operate robust, automated systems to support multi-region scaling and high-volume workloads for millions of databases. This is a fully remote, global role.

• Strong software engineering skills with required Go and TypeScript
• 5+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS compute, networking, and storage services
• 3+ years of experience building custom Kubernetes controllers and operating large-scale clusters ranging from tens to hundreds of thousands of pods
• Experience building and operating cloud infrastructure or distributed systems at scale
• Knowledge of networking and multi-region infrastructure design
• Familiarity with Postgres
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, with Pulumi highly preferred
• Experience participating in on-call rotations for large production systems
