Platform Engineer - Compute Capacity

Supabase is seeking a platform engineer to join their Compute Capacity team and help manage compute supply and infrastructure demand across all operating regions. You will design, build, and operate automated systems for reservation acquisition, fleet reconciliation, infrastructure as code, and capacity metrics and alerting. The role is remote and global.

• Have 5+ years across infrastructure engineering, SRE, platform, or capacity engineering, ideally at SaaS or cloud infrastructure scale
• Have production software engineering experience owning and operating a service in languages like TypeScript, Python, and Go
• Have experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Pulumi or Terraform
• Have built or maintained observability for systems using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar
• Have solid working knowledge of AWS EC2 instance families, purchase options, capacity reservations, and quota mechanics
• Understand reservation economics and tradeoffs between coverage, utilization, and cost

Infrastructure, SRE, platform, or capacity engineers with cloud scale experience who are comfortable working with incomplete forecasts and communicating across engineering and finance teams.
