Platform Engineer, Edge & Networking

Supabase is seeking a platform engineer to join their Edge and Networking squad to design, build, and operate the network perimeter systems for the Postgres development platform. The role involves managing API gateways, routing, load balancing, DNS, and secure global traffic distribution to support scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure.

• 5+ years experience in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure
• 4+ years experience building and operating high-scale networking or edge infrastructure
• Strong experience with HTTP, TCP/IP, TLS certificate management, CDN internals, load balancing, and global routing
• Proficiency with traffic proxies or routers such as Envoy, NGINX, HAProxy, or Traefik
• Strong software engineering skills in Go
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Pulumi, Terraform, or CDK
• Experience participating in on-call rotations for large production systems
