Senior Data Scientist

Monzo is seeking a Senior Product Data Scientist to help shape the bank of the future and supercharge user engagement. In this role, you will be embedded in a cross-functional product squad, applying quantitative analysis and experimentation to inform product strategy. The position is based in London, Cardiff, or available as UK remote.

• Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data presentation to understand user interactions and inform product strategy
• Guide and enable product teams to measure key metrics and help run large scale A/B experiments
• Collaborate with the finance team to understand user lifetime value and feature impact on user profitability
• Liaise with engineers to ensure correct data collection for relevant business insights
• Possess a solid grounding in SQL and preferably Python
• Demonstrate an impact-driven, commercially minded, and self-starter mindset

An impact-driven, commercially minded data scientist with a self-starter mindset who is comfortable being both hands-on and strategic. Ideal candidates have a solid grounding in SQL and Python, along with experience conducting large scale A/B experiments.
