Software Engineer - Turso

Supabase is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Turso core database team and contribute to agentic database technology. The role involves driving the Turso Open Source database, working on its Postgres compatibility layer, and maintaining scalable cloud operations.

• Drive the progress of the Turso Open Source database, specifically the Postgres compatibility layer
• Ensure system reliability and implement guarantees to prevent code failures
• Maintain Turso Cloud operations, including the Cloud API and data plane operations
• Improve the scalability of Turso Cloud operations to support a significantly larger number of databases

An ideal candidate has experience building databases or other high-stakes low-level systems, thrives in fast-paced asynchronous environments, and enjoys solving real-world problems for developers.
