People Tech Business Systems Analyst

As a Business Systems Analyst at Gusto, you will own and configure the systems powering the recruiting experience, including recruiting tools and Sana. You will partner with Recruiting, People Operations, and Engineering to map workflows, remove manual steps, and build AI agents and automations. This role can be based in Denver, New York, or San Francisco on a hybrid schedule.

• 4 to 6 years of experience in HRIS, recruiting systems, business systems analysis, or a related role
• Hands-on experience owning and configuring an ATS or HR system like Greenhouse or Workday, including integrations
• Track record of leading projects from requirements through launch with measurable results
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation skills
• Experience partnering with engineers on design, testing, and launch, along with comfort using light scripting or automation tools
• Experience with, or strong interest in, building AI tools and agents to improve processes
• Clear communication skills, including presenting to senior stakeholders and prioritizing competing requests

Professionals with 4 to 6 years of business systems or HRIS experience who enjoy optimizing workflows, configuring recruiting tools, and collaborating with engineering teams to build AI-driven automations.
